“I don’t remember who said this, but there really are places in the heart you don’t even know exist until you love a child.”
— Anne Lamott
Single Session Saturday, September 26 9:30-11:00am
Historically, writers have been warned against having children, but sometimes parenting, just as writing, finds us against our “better judgement” and we find ourselves aching to be successful in both.
This workshop is a space to commiserate on the struggles parent-writers face balancing their creative and parenting lives, share tips and encouragement on how one can, in fact, do both.
All who identify as parents, caregivers, or future parents welcome.
